Spiritual Healing has a very special part to play within Spiritualism and has always been part of its purpose. It requires no faith or belief whatsoever on behalf of the person who is seeking Healing. For those who do seek Healing, it is not necessary for that person to have the same belief as that of the Healing Medium giving Healing.
Spiritualist Churches have their own Healing group, holding Healing services or Healing sessions each week within the Church.
To become an Accredited Healing Medium, the SH1 Theory course must be completed, the trainee will be provided with a tutor. Running alongside this course is practical training. This training can be completed within the District or on zoom.
Our Healers work within the ‘SNU code of Conduct’ issued by the Spiritualist National Union.
Our three methods of Healing are :-
CONTACT HEALING - The Healing medium will ask permission of the recipient to place their hands on to them during Healing.
DISTANT HEALING - Distant Healing is sent by the power of thought to someone who is physically present but is not receiving contact healing.
ABSENT HEALING – In Absent Healing the person is not physically present and Healing is sent through thought and prayer.
ABOUT OUR HEALERS – All our Healers are certificated and trained through the SNU and adhere to our strict Code of Conduct and Healing and the Law.
Patients requesting Spiritual Healing are advised to ensure that they are consulting with a certified SNU Healing Medium. Each of our Healers should hold an up-to-date Accreditation card issued by the SNU, which confirms their name, registration number and photograph.
